Our HMPUR 1308.20 adhesive, known and appreciated by our customers, is synonymous with strength (long life). We can claim that this product has a long adhesive life. It is recommended for bonding plastic foils intended for outdoor use (PVC and aluminum window profiles). 1308.20 was developed especially for countries in Asia and South America, where window profiles are subject to climates with high humidity and heat. Our laboratory has tested the 1308.20 adhesive according to the RAL 716 methodology of the GKFT (Gütegemeinschaft Kunststoff-Fensterprofilsysteme e.V.), confirming after hydrolysis tests a very high weathering resistance, normally twice as high as commercially available HMPUR
Product features
TK.1308.20 has been formulated for laminating PVC and aluminum profiles and panels with the slot nozzle, where a high initial tack is required. This feature is appreciated to ensure during lamination processes, the perfect adhesion of the new generation of plasticizer-free (rigid) foils on more complicated geometries and high processing speeds. 1308.20 is available in the 1308.20F(FAST) version with fast cross-linking. The chemical cross-linking time of the adhesive in this case will be about 24 hours, an important parameter for welding profiles after 24 hours after lamination or for shipping and storage in cold environments with low relative humidity.
