TAKA is an Italian company with over 20 years of experience in the world of industrial adhesives for outdoor, indoor, and many other applications. Our involvement in the chemical industry date back to the 1950s.
Today, TAKA exclusively develops state-of-the-art, reactive polyurethane hot melt industrial adhesives. Our adhesives are supplied in solid form and can be melted using melters.
HMPUR technology (Hot Melt Polyurethane Reactive) provides not only a physical adhesion but also generates an irreversible chemical reaction, ensuring a long-lasting result.
The use of polyurethane in adhesives replaces older technologies, such as solvent-based or formaldehyde-based adhesives, offering environmental sustainability and increased operator safety.
Taka is constantly investing in research and development to create increasingly high-performing and sustainable products. In particular, the focus on the environment in terms of people and environmental impact has led to the development of two new lines of adhesives.
With three production plants, TAKA has a total production capacity of more than 12,000 tons.
This is the first plant.
Today, it houses the Research and Development laboratories where all the adhesive and base material formulations are created.
Here, a portion of the polyurethane adhesives are also produced.
Located in close proximity to TAKA 1, this plant is dedicated to the production of all the polyesters used in our adhesives.
By bringing polyester production in-house, we guarantee consistent quality and reduce our dependence on external suppliers. The unique polyesters produced here result in industrial adhesives that are unrivalled in the market.
This is the largest plant. Shipments are sent directly worldwide from here, and quality control is carried out.
This plant also houses the administrative and commercial offices as well as the internal Academy. It completes the production of Taka 1 with the production of all other adhesives, machinery cleaners, and primers.
