PUR hot melt adhesive 1308.18

Specific for heat-sensitive foils

The 1308.18 adhesive was developed for the foil lamination of both exterior and interior panels with thin (0.15 mm) plastic foils, which could be damaged by too high an adhesive temperature and especially in contact with the hot glue head.

1308.18 can be applied at low temperatures (around 90-100°C). The use of lower temperatures in the melter, hose and slot nozzle means that the foil does not deform and therefore does not form creases, especially in the centre part of the glue line.

This adhesive is characterised by its low viscosity and long open time, hence the possibility of applying it at low panel temperatures (20-30°C).

Its special formulation ensures that panels intended for outdoor use have excellent weather resistance as required by RAL 716.

1308.18 is RAL 716 certified in combination with all TAKA primers.
