Adhesive 3308.20 is designed for edging smooth panels, both MDF and chipboard. It is suitable for all types of plastic board materials, such as (ABS, PVC, PP, PS etc.), wood and wood derivatives.
This adhesive has a high initial setting that allows subsequent in-line processing and high stability in the melter (up to about 3-4 days).
It has a long open time and good wettability, making it a universal adhesive suitable for all types of panels and edges.
Compared with other edging adhesives on the market, 3308.20 does not require a high product grammage at the time of its application, this allows for a thinner and therefore less visible adhesive line.
Its natural colouring is ivory-type. It is also available in white colouring (see code 3308.20B), which is ideal for pairing white edges with white panels to make the system more uniform.
This adhesive provides excellent edge sealing that allows excellent heat and water resistance, enabling the substrate to pass vapor tests.
The adhesive is ideal for roll coating.
