The hot melt PUR adhesive 3308.20 is designed for the edgebanding of smooth panels made of MDF or chipboard. It is suitable for all types of plastic edgeband materials, such as (ABS, PVC, PP, PS etc.), wood and wood derivatives.
This adhesive has a high initial grip that allows subsequent in-line processing and high stability in the melter (up to about 3-4 days).
It has a long open time and good wettability, making it a universal adhesive suitable for all types of panels and edges.
Compared to other edge banding adhesives on the market, 3308.20 does not require high weights when applied, allowing for a thinner and therefore less visible glue line.Its natural colouring is ivory-type. It is also available in white colouring (see code 3308.20B), which is ideal for pairing white edges with white panels to give the system a more uniform appearance.
This adhesive provides excellent sealing of the edge that guarantees excellent heat and water resistance, enabling the substrate to pass vapor tests.
The adhesive is ideal for roller application.
