The TAKA-WPR Group continues to innovate—not only in wrapping processes and hot melt adhesive technologies, but also in how it presents its solutions to customers.
Among this year’s most cutting-edge projects is the in-house development of an augmented reality platform, created by the WPR software team with support from TAKA.
Using a headset, users can now visualize life-size WPR machinery and TAKA hot melt melters directly in any environment, offering a fully immersive and interactive experience.
This technology allows users to explore the machines from every angle—even from the inside—revealing every construction detail. Individual components such as wheels, blowers, and hot melt melters (which TAKA has been producing for over 20 years) can be interacted with, enabling close-up inspection and real-time Q&A.
Augmented reality will be a highlight at events and trade shows where the TAKA-WPR Group is present, and can also be brought directly to customers upon request—offering a new way to engage with profile and panel wrapping machinery.
