Features

Its special features are, a medium-high initial bond strength to be used in combination with high speeds and difficult geometries, providing excellent weather resistance especially in countries with high temperature and humidity. The good initial bonding combines very well with new foils with increased rigidity. The use of 1308.90 guarantees to maintain the final performance of Taka's traditional products (weather resistance) with a much better environmental impact for operators. Due to its peculiarity of having a free isocyanate monomer content < 0.1%, 1308.90 carries no labelling.

Features

The adhesive is characterized by low viscosity and a long open time, which allows the adhesive to be applied at low panel temperatures (20-30°C). Its special formulation ensures that panels intended for outdoor use have excellent weather resistance as required by RAL 716. 1308.18 is RAL 716 certified in combination with the various 171-171M -171AC primers and the new generation of low VOC primers.

As we know, the finished product over time needs to maintain its original characteristics without being affected by UV rays, rain or climate conditions of any kind. This is why, thanks to our technical laboratory, we are able to test our products to verify their resistance over time according to the RAL 716 analysis methodology. The 1308.2RF is certified according to RAL 716.

TK.1308.20 has been formulated for laminating PVC and aluminum profiles and panels with the slot nozzle, where a high initial tack is required. This feature is appreciated to ensure during lamination processes, the perfect adhesion of the new generation of plasticizer-free (rigid) foils on more complicated geometries and high processing speeds. 1308.20 is available in the 1308.20F(FAST) version with fast cross-linking. The chemical cross-linking time of the adhesive in this case will be about 24 hours, an important parameter for welding profiles after 24 hours after lamination or for shipping and storage in cold environments with low relative humidity.
